A.R.C. (Atelier Ruofan Chen) is an architecture and design studio founded in Los Angeles, with regional offices in Shenzhen and Chengdu. We specialize in urban design, architectural design, and interior design, combining a global perspective with locally grounded expertise.

As a multidisciplinary design consultancy practicing across urban design, architecture, landscape, and interiors, A.R.C. explores new possibilities for the relationship between people, nature, and society through spatial and architectural strategies. Grounded in a deep understanding of client needs and project context, we focus on the native conditions of design and construction—embracing the uniqueness and complexity of each site. Guided by research and enabled by technology, we pursue design solutions that are both sincere and thought-provoking.

A.R.C. （Atelier Ruofan Chen) 几合建筑设计事务所始创于美国洛杉矶，在中国深圳和成都设立区域办公室，以国际化视野思维和专业技术开展有关城市规划，建筑设计和室内设计等专业领域的项目实践。

其核心设计及管理团队由毕业于哈佛大学、香港大学等国内外知名学府，在城市规划、建筑设计、景观设计、室内设计等领域有着卓越的专业和学术教育背景，以及在专业领域实践多年有着丰富经验的项目顾问、设计总监、资深设计师组成。

A.R.C.是一个多学科设计咨询事务所，通过建筑和空间设计方式，为人与自然，社会相处提供更多的新的可能性。过程中，我们希望在理解分析客户和项目的需求基础上，关注设计与建造实践的真实状态，直面每个项目的独特性和多变性，以研究引领设计，以技术赋能实践，探寻真诚而有启发性的答案。

Ruofan Chen is the founding partner of A.R.C. Before establishing the studio, he gained over a decade of design experience in China, the United States, and Japan, having worked at internationally recognized firms such as SOM, NBBJ, Riken Yamamoto & Field Shop, and Zhaoyang Architects. He has led and participated in a wide range of domestic and international projects spanning urban planning, urban design, architecture, and interior design. Chen holds a Master of Architecture from Harvard University. He founded A.R.C. in Los Angeles and relocated the studio to Shenzhen, China, in 2023. 

陈若凡是A.R.C.建筑设计事务所的创始合伙人，成立A.R.C.之前，在中国，美国和日本有十多年设计实践经验，曾工作于SOM，NBBJ，山本理显设计工场，赵扬工作室等国内外知名公司。参与和主持过众多国内外项目，其中各类项目涵盖了多个设计学科，包括城市规划，城市设计，建筑设计以及室内设计等。陈若凡于哈佛大学取得建筑学硕士，后在美国洛杉矶创办了A.R.C.，并于2023将工作室迁至中国深圳。

Difei Ma 马迪菲

Difei Ma previously worked at Stoss Urbanism in Boston and AMO（the research branch for OMA）in the Netherlands. She participated in the curatorial work of the 14th Venice Architecture Biennale led by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Rem Koolhaas, and contributed to the accompanying publication, Elements. Ma brings a diverse background across landscape architecture, architecture, publishing, curatorial practice, and visual media. She holds a Master in Landscape Architecture from Harvard University, where she was awarded the Graduate with Distinction honor. 

马迪菲曾就职于波士顿 Stoss Urbanism,和荷兰大都会事务所（OMA）的研究机构AMO，并参与了由普利茨克奖建筑师库哈斯主持的十四届威尼斯建筑双年展的策展活动及相关著作《Elements》的编写。她拥有丰富的景观，建筑，出版，策展和可视化媒体的多样背景。马迪菲在哈佛大学获得景观设计学硕士学位，并获得优异毕业生奖。
